The Extension of the Yard

Tradition meets unmatched energy at The Extension of the Yard — The Htx Bodega’s signature Texas Southern University Homecoming alumni celebration. This is the Sunday Funday closing act the Tiger family has been waiting for, and it’s going down Sunday, October 25th at 2:00 PM.

Alumni, come exactly as you are and rep your era with pride. Whether you graduated decades ago or just crossed the stage, this kick-back is calling TSU Tigers of every generation to close out Homecoming 2K26 in style. Relax, reconnect, and share the legacies we’ve built together — while creating a few more memories that’ll last a lifetime.

The vibes are fully loaded:

• Food by ChefNolaBoy
• Sounds by TSU’s own DJ Neli Nel
• Hookah & cigar bar
• Outdoor big-screen patio energy
• A complimentary welcome beverage when you show up with your Tiger pride

Come for the nostalgia, stay for the culture. Tickets start at just $10 — grab yours before the early bird pricing flies away and join us at The Htx Bodega for an afternoon of pure HBCU joy.
